| Björk – It's In Our Hands Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I agree that it's not purely about global warming, but I disagree with the idea that it's not about the world and nature. Sure there is this suggestion of "just stop gazing elsewhere, everything needed is here, in our hands, and it was there all the time". But, the video completes this message. As in Undo, it's about leaving things as they are, let life and nature do their work, and stop interfering with it. We have already broken the balance in the world, and it's in our hands to restore it, however, we mustn't push it, let's just leave life and nature find a way, because they always do. | |
| Björk – I See Who You Are Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't think the word "lover" stands merely for a boyfriend or girlfriend. In this song for example, I think it's more about the passions the person she's talking about (her daughter). She knows she'll grow up to be passionate over everything she enjoys, she sees her just like a reflection of herself, because the girl was inside her. It's a deep, organic, and spiritual connection brewed by motherly love. | |
| Björk – Enjoy Lyrics | 18 years ago |

My shot at Enjoy is that the song goes far beyond mere love and sex, as the lyrics suggest. With Björk, it's always about life. And enjoy is no exception. For me, Enjoy is a metaphor of the complexity of today's world. The issues that agoviate us in our dialy life drive us away from the simplicity and beauty in nature and the world we're living in. The modern life floods our days with innecessary problems, while most of ous would like to only care about loving and having pleasure all the time. "This is sex without touching". There's of course pleasure in the way we lead our lives, but it's empty, it's distant from the raw form of pleasure nature had for us. Unfortunately, there's no going back, we can't give in anymore, today's world magnetizes us towards it, even though we're into life to enjoy it. |
