Heard Guy Garvey talking about this song on the radio. Once comfortable in a new relationship, he'd inadvertently test how much his partner loved him by telling them horrible things about his past. When you know the meaning of a song it always makes so much sense. I never would have guessed it without listening to Garvey talk about it. |
