Basically, I don't see why anyone can be upset by Kyo's English. In a way I think he screws up on purpose cause... well, try to sing the English songs without doing it like him - and sing them 'right'... it doesn't rhyme or flow. Most the people on here talking about it are probably the ones who speak English... I don't see why it should matter to you - when he speaks Japanese you have to look up the lyrics anyways. Look at these American bands, like Slipknot, etc.... you have to look at the lyrics to know what our bands are saying a lot too. But I think its cool that the latest CD is harder rock... its like a pattern. Their first CDs had mostly softer rock and like 2 or 3 hardcore or heavy songs. Then it gradually increased, and now in their most recent CD is mostly heavy and like 2 or 3 softer songs. It just kinda reversed and evened out. They are trying to reach a wide range of fans... respect that. But when I heard this song, I think I was kinda on the same page as pisssquirrel. What I think he is saying is that people are ignorant hypocrites. No one has respect or remorse, and try to be cool like celebrities who are only giving a bad example and are nothing but trash. Society teaches people all this, and he isn't going to listen anymore. He wants to put a stop to it ('I will kill the haughtily fly' look up haughtily if you don't know the word). 'I'll rape your daughter on your grave'. I don't think he is his speaking out of hatred, nor is he talking about sexual perversion. I think he's saying that that is how bad people are these days in our society. They would rape your daughter on your grave with no remorse. People are just Cold Blooded (as he says in the end). 'I will slash your wound just like mine' people hurt him, and he wants them to know it. 'It's the black flag mother fucker!' is just a statement that he is speaking out against society and the government (a Black Flag represents that 'we want war and we wont give up'. Opposite of a White Flag). He wants war against this sick society of ignorant hypocrites and he wont back down. 'You can't shoot the silver bullet into me'. You can't stop him. It seems he was trying to direct this song towards celebrities who are the prime role models in our society. 'I wanna shout out to all you trash celebrity stars.' he's basically saying "look what your doing to our society..." then is followed by the rape your daughter thing. He's saying "this is what your doing to our society". |
