Flamsmark - Klaxons' lyrics really 'aren't meant to be understood', as you said. At least they aren't meant to be understood in the same way for everyone. Sure, there was an underlying meaning/idea when they began writing, but the boys ultimately want their songs to be encrypted so as to let fans try their creative hand at deciphering and understanding the lyrics. |

It all started when his granddad, who was a spiritual healer, said something massive and devastating is going to occur on December 12th, 2012 [as other people had said as well, apparently]. And that's why Jamie mentioned a big BBQ, RaveIndieCindy - Simon is gonna hold an epic party at his flat on 12.12.12, and everyone's invited.
TALLONLORD - The album's actually called 'Myths Of The Near Future' due to JG Ballard's collection of short stories by the same name. If you read that book, it'll help you better understand the meanings of Klaxons' songs. |
