This is the first Manson's song I heard ( ok, except Personal Jesus, Sweet Dreams... ). Video is hm, hm... but the song is great, i love his voice and this weird lyrics... But, I don't know what's it about, but it seems to me that it doesn't have any particular meaning, like he was writing what was in his head adding a few details from his life ( like heart shaped glasses or relationship with a younger woman ) but his divorce from Dita, moving on with his life and new projects ( Lewis Carroll - Alice in Wonderland ) also probably had influence on this song... the whole album actually. |

This is a break - up song for me, sad, relaxing but with nice lyrics... I think it's about how when you met someone you like, maybe you two are different but you understand each other well and you think you two are meant to be, but then for some reason the other one breaks up, and that hurts... - because he seemed like the one but he's not and now you have to forget about him... It's hard in the beggining but after some time you get that feeling - he was just anoter ... And i think this song is about a relationship like that or at least about that feeling... |

I think i haven't heard the Lennon's original, but I think this song is beautiful... Strong, powerfull, more concentrated on lyrics than sound, music is like following Maynard's voice from background... And about remakeing, maybe it's not better than original ( i don't know ) but I think what APC done was the right thing, every now and then somebody has to remind us on songs like this and they did that in right time, maybe even not trying to be better than original, just adapting it... So, imagine... |

I agree with caleby, my friends laughed when I told them i like this song... But it really has something, I never heard anything similar, it's funny and sad in the same time. And, of course, i like the way Jack and Meg sing about love, like nothing is impossible when "it comes to love"... |

The Denial Twist is one of my favourites, favourite on Get Behind Me Satan Album... I like the If you think that a kiss is all in the lips C'mon, you got it all wrong, man And if you think that our dance was all in the hips Oh well, then do the twist... part, but the whole song is really great, great sound and great lyrics, different, little freaky but with some meaning, something you can relate to ( even without understanding completely the song because that's almoust impossible, you can't know exactly why someone wrote something, right?... ) |
