Better yet, i just found this song along with many others I have never heard on an album titled "Tube Fruit, All Smiles and Chocolate". I can't remember what site i found the download on but here's a link to a .rar download of the album: http://www.mediafire.com/?ech0ycll8vqwpkb You'll have to get a program to open the.rar file such as WinRar (really easy to use). This album was made in 1993 on cassette, only about 100 of them I read somewhere. |

I'm thinking that Poisoncandygram has the right idea. I think they're trying to say music, whether you're playing it or listening to it, should be fun and original. And the title Left Hand Suzuki Method, I think might stand for being different. Most people are right handed, so don't just be right handed(mainstream music) because everyone else is. You should explore different kinds of music and find what you really love. Also for some reason it just doesnt seem like gorillaz would support the suzuki method of learning music (repetitiveness), when their music is the complete opposite. |

I just listened to this song for the first time a few minutes ago. I really like it and i agree with a lot of the other interpretations of this song and i think that they're all right, thats what i love about tool/apc. You can connect to all of their songs. I personally like to think that it's about a man losing faith in his religion but trying not to stray away becuase if he does it was all for nothing. |

This song has significant meaning to me right now. There's a girl that i would kill to be with but she is in pain over an asshole of a boyfriend. I try to make her as happy as i can but it seems like she will never get over her past relationship. The guy she was with treated/treats her like shit but she still cares for him. It's frustrating and dissapointing knowing that i can't change it, no matter how hard i try. I think the meaning of this song is pretty clear, but maybe it has a different meaning to others. |

When i first heard this song i thought of smoke, and how it starts off thick but as it floats higher and higher it becomes thinner and fades away. But clearly it's not about smoke. To me this song is about a missed oppurtunity. You could have had been with a girl you love but you fucked it up or you something happend to get the way. And then you just watch it slowly fade away and you hate yourself for not taking the chance. |

To me this song seems like it could be about any sort of addiction. But mostly someone who is addicted to sex. I don't have any first hand experiance but it seems to me like a hardcore drug addict wouldnt be "clever or tricky". But someone who just wants to have sex with a girl would have to pretend that he loves her and give her a false sense of security so that she will give him what he came for. He doesn't want a friend, doesn't want to settle in a relationship, he just wants to get his nut.
Great song by one of my favorite bands. |
