I can't help thinking that this is about a manager/agent and the person he works with. He picked her up in the cocktail bar, made her famous. She led him on to get to succes and now she doesn't want to work with him anymore. He on the other side really loves her and threatens 'to end' her succes because he 'can' if she doesn't return his feelings. |

No commented yet? Seriously? But seriously? I love this song so so so much. I heard it on One Tree Hill first and later a friend sent it to me. I don't really know what it means but I think it's about how 'dreamers' are not taken serious by the world today. That we are in a world that's too cold and realistic, too down to earth. A world which discourages people to dream because other people will not take you serious. I think this is a song with a message for a better world, like he sings himself, a world to believe in. A world where dreamers are allowed ... a world they find not so far away from us, if we would only allow ourselves to dream it could be just behind our closed eyes. But that's just my thought. |

I am impressed by Ali actually. She has an amazing voice for being so young. Mostly I try to avoid this kids that think that they can make it because they have famous family or something big supporting them. But I think I'll make an execption for Ali Lohan. I totally adore the lyrics. What does the song mean: 'That everything I wanted was what I had.' I think it says it itself. |

This one of those songs who is so simple and they can touch everyone's soul because it’s sung with so much true emotion. Pretty clear what it is about. She had a boyfriend and she went away for a while and while she was away he cheated on her and she found out. I kind of agree with 'iluvoth', I think it's about a little girl who loses her parents or her parents left her behind for a reason. Now they'll never know how hurt she is, how beautiful she'll become, ... In my eyes it's about how the girl is too young and too innocent to deal with all the sadness but she doesn't have to hide it because it's a part of her, and this doesn’t have to change her also her parents will never know who she’ll become. The singer wants her to not lose her innocent and not to grow up too much through all what happened, she’s just supposed to be the same little girl before everything happened. It's such an amazing song, so sad but beautiful at the same time ... |
