I've got to agree with Godzuki - I've always thought it about a man who didn't love her. In fact - I think it's about a man who left her for a woman called Sophia - and Nerina's basically saying "I don't think you're worthy of him...." I've always linked the first verse and chorus to say: "Calling out again and again: "Sophia Sophia..."" implying that that's what he's calling now.... |
