Bonus song: Sojourn Lyrics: Sitting on the edge Of an armchair My seatbelt unfastened Shoelaces not tied Letting the wind mess my hair Make up all smudged Waking up all blurry eyed It's too early in the morning For my words to come out right Just getting used to sunshine I'm still squinting in the light And it looks like a perfect day Just to get away All the mundane Has bought out the rebel I was born to be And it feels like the perfect time Just to break away This is my life It's a sojourn from the norm, oh, yeah I'm a non-conformist I like doing stupid things Like laughing on a train Or falling in love again Television, magazines They tell you how to live your life But not how to use your brain It's too early in the morning For my words to come out right Just getting used to sunshine I'm still squinting in the light And it looks like a perfect day Just to get away All the mundane Has bought out the rebel I was born to be And it feels like the perfect time Just to break away This is my life It's a sojourn from the norm, yeah, oh, yeah I wanna do something I've never done Dip my toe Beneath the surface Of a sea that I've never seen the bottom of I'm not perfect Don't have to be Can walk around in just bare feet I'm comfortable in my own skin My confidence, it starts within And it looks like a perfect day Just to get away All the mundane Has bought out the rebel I was born to be And it feels like a perfect time Just to break away This is my life It's a sojourn from the norm A sojourn from the norm, oh, yeah |

| Norah Jones – Seven Years Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song is so beautiful to me. It reminds me of my friend from fourth grade. She never had any friends, and got made fun of a lot and had to share attention with little sibblings, but she was always so happy. She was such an optimist and no matter how many people didn't like her or made fun of her, she always kept her head up. Smiling like she was having the best day in the world. Everytime I hear this song, I see her face. | |

Wow, this song is so hard to understand. One part, though: Some are being beaten. Some are being born. And some can't tell the differance anymore. That's so sad. Its like life's so horrible that being born and being beaten is the same thing. Right? |

| Jewel – Pieces of You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song has a great meaning. You all covered it well. I like this song. Not one of her best, though. | |
| Jewel – Little Sister Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Jewel is just so. . . with it. She knows exactly what the world is and will turn into and she's trying to make us see. Like 'Look, all these young kids are taking drugs and doing all these things that aren't right.' She's just so honest about the world. I love it. Great song. I often feel this same way about some of my friends. Like they're going down the wrong path and I just wish that I could save them. | |
| Martina McBride – Concrete Angel Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The first time I heard this song, I cried. The first time I saw the MV, I cried. The first time I sang this in a talent show, everyone cried. Its just such a sad song. Obviously about abuse. Poor little girl. It makes you really want to not overlook child abuse. . . | |
| Anna Nalick – Paper Bag Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Ok, I don't think the words are 'And one day we'll all be old' I do believe its: 'And someday well I'll be older' Of course, I'm most likely wrong. Two, this song shows a major lack of confidence on Anna's side here. Instead of thinking 'I am beautiful', the girl thinks 'I will be beautiful' and hides herself. Of course, that is how a lot of girls feel. |

| Anna Nalick – Forever Love (Digame) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song sounds sad to me. But I think she's saying she just really needs to hear that he loves her. | |
| Anna Nalick – Catalyst Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song is so sad. I never really understood exactly what she was singing about, but my vocal teacher said this song was very disturbing :[ | |
| Obadiah Parker – Hey Ya (Outkast cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Ok, this is like the best song on earth!! I like this version soooooooooo much better than the Outcast version. Its so mellow and sweet and such a better mood for the song. | |
| Rascal Flatts – Life Is a Highway Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I love this song. And I love the Rascal Flats. Its so boppy and fun. | |
| The Temptations – The Way You Do The Things You Do Lyrics | 18 years ago |

| Jewel – Sometimes It Be That Way Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Ok, I love this song. I have the live version off the CD, and I found it a little humorus and sarcastic, acctually. Like when she's apologizing she's saying it in a more 'oh, well soooorry. In your face' kind of way. | |
| Jewel – The New Wild West Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This is one of my favorite songs all together. It took me forever to figure out what it meant and I still don't think I got it, but I think its telling how much the world has changed or hasn't changed for that matter. How as the world becomes more modern and civilized, its acctually getting harsher. We're all killing eachother and fighting. And it's like we're trying to get better, but we're acctually just turning ourselves into one big army. That's the new world and Jewel is telling us to be prepared because it's just getting worse. | |
