Alright, I'm not taking the time to read through every comment here so if I am repeating what anyone else said, I'm sorry lol. I believe that the line, "Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun," shows that when he was young he had a lot of potential. The next line, "Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky," signifies his use of LSD, in my opinion. The reason I say that is because LSD causes one's pupils to dilate, hence "black holes in the sky." Finally, this might be a stretch but the line, "You reached for the secret too soon," could mean that he took too much LSD at once (kind of a hero's dose) and tried to find the secret to life. |
