I think the blue eyes line could relate to the "standard of beauty" or the glamour of it. I think it could also stand for everyone thinking that they are so innocent. |

I love this album. In my opinion, the entire album is incredible, not a single song i would skip. Definitely a top 10 for me. I think people get too caught up in that it was different than his other work, and that it didn't sell well, and can let that cloud their opinion of whether it is a great album or not.
To me i think that this song could be about something like a breakup or a relationship falling apart, but i don't think that is looking deep enough into it. I have a strong feeling it is about something more meaningful, i just have no idea what. |
