I think this song COULD be about space travel, but it seems unlikely to me. "The ship sailed out to a blue and sunny morn" and "sailed across the milky seas" implies both seas and the fact that they were sailing and not flying. Flied would work in the line. The only thing else i could think of is that maybe he went into a boat, sailed away, came back, and for some reason or other, he's immortal. I know thats confusing but you guys are the pot callin the kettle black if you give me crap about this; space travel and planetary colonization is about as looney as my idea. |

whoever put the lyrics on here - you misspelled day in "And the night followed day" and this line "Your mother's eyes in your eyes cry to me" is actually "Your mother's eyes FROM your..." |
