I wish I could've heard this song somewhere happier, but I first heard it in a video of graphic animal slaughter. It was one of those myspace chain bulletins that show cats and dogs being skinned alive for fur. The tone of the song added a certain hint of bleak sarcasm to the video. Probably one of the most disturbing images I had ever seen on the internet was of a dog completely skinless except for it's paws but still moving, and slowly dying to the final chorus of this song.
Nevertheless, this song is amazing, and in due time I'll be able to listen to it and think of things other than animal cruelty. |
