I think this song might be about someone who is in love with someone and thinks they love them back, but they don't. Anyone else feel that way? Read the lyrics with that mindset, it seems that way. Especially the shoulder part, just because you feel it doesn't mean it's there. Like when you love someone and put your arms on each other's shoulders when you walk or dance. Or maybe the feeling that isn't there really is just love. You might feel like someone loves you back, but that doesn't mean they do. |

I think it's about how much happier they are since their band got back together. I think this was written after the break-up. |

I think overall it's just a song about being confident. When the sun is shining and the sky is blue you just gotta go out there and do it. Don't let the past hold you back. But really, when I put visuals to the words of the song I see someone going outside one day, seeing what a great day it is, and seizing it. There's lot's to do and see, and there's no reason to be afraid of it. |

| Stratovarius – Years Go By Lyrics

This song talks about a few things. The first part could be referring to something he did to someone. They may have found it hurtful, but he never meant for them to feel that way, and that over the years they should realize that by now.
The rest of it talks about how what you're looking for is right in front of you. We work our whole lives thinking that it'll build up to something, and we use working as an excuse to getting us there, but it's really been there the whole time. That's what it means when it says Don't look the answer from horizon. Our whole lives we always think we need to look ahead to the horizon. There will ALWAYS be a horizon, and you can never get to it. What you're looking for is right there.
It's called and it says in the song Years Go By because years go by and you never know when it's too late to do something, hence the line in the song. To reiterate: What you're looking for is probably right there. For example, let's say you want to be a musician. Become one. Write songs and get out there. You don't always need to go to years of music school to be able to do it. If you do things like that for everything, years will go by and it'll be too late to do it. |
