its a double meaning song. it could be a love song for god. (weird). or a boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife that somebody could have lost. i use the second meaning. but thats me and my opinion. i could care less what you christians say what you think. |

a lot of black metal bands songs are basically about northern europe tribes bakc in the day. and most of those tribes were pagan. and the worshiped and lived with nature. so yeah nature and climate are biggie topics. that and anti-christianity, but not always satanism. satanism is used to piss the christians off not that they technically believe in satan. satan is in christian belief, so why would they? |

awesome song. i never liked A7X. but this is some good stuff in it. i like it means the same as everyone else. im a guitar player and that solo is fuckin awesome. lol sounds like Slashes solo on "November Rain" just a little. |

actually some of you were close. I actually heard that Lacey wrote this song in reference to a boyfriend she had when she was younger, who died while they were dating. The lyrics "The light is white" meant that it represented his passing onto heaven and seeing the "light." and "you said you would never leave me, i believe you" meant that she believed he'd always be there no matter what, alive or not. I'm pretty convinced because the lyrics seem perfect for such a tragedy. |
