| Forgive Durden – For a Dreamer, Night's the Only Time of Day Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| my interpretation is that the speaker is trapped in a life that he hates, such as his work, everyday behavior, etc. the busy life he leads causes him to pass up time to appreciate the world around him until he sees a blonde woman while walks through the busy town. he instantly falls in love, sees a future with her, and decides he is willing to abandon his life to run away with her. thats the obvious part. as far as the "extra, extra" part...it could be interpreted in different ways. just to put something out there, chief executive could have been murdered by the speaker because he was in the way of the speaker's goals to run away with the girl. that's my take on it anyway. this song is amazing and the part when he screams after that extra extra part is an awesome way to close the song. | |
