you guys know you are missing half the song, at 15:08 it starts up again with a whole new sound and lyrics. plus there is an instrumental section somewhere in the middle, but its kind of lame. the song part is good though |

i don't really know about the meaning of the song, but Rebbal Ace you are a fucking idiot. Catholicism is a christian sect. The oldest living one along with the eastern orthodox churches to be exact. of course thats were you can get into the debate of institutional vs. mystical church, but the teachings of Catholocism are definatley, historically, and scripturally Christian in nature. |

well, this just makes me think of the holy spirit, which is a mothering figure in my religion. it doesn't remind me of my earthly mother, all my beefs are with my dad, haha ;). of course this is all just me. |

I know this is not a religious band, but when i hear this song i can't help but think of a priest who lost faith and left the priesthood to be with a non-religious woman. later he regrets his decision and misses the closeness he felt to jesus as a priest, but he does'nt believe anymore so he can never return. I know it is probably incorrect, but the reference to a 'he' i don't see as necesarrily sexual at all, but rather a deep platonic love the man once felt for jesus, to the point that they shed blood for eachother. |
