This is one of my favorite ZOMBIES songs. Thats right kids, this song was not written by your favorite no talent rock band Ok Go. This is an incredibly mediocre cover to an awesome song. If you like this song, I suggest you download the zombies version right now, because it's a thousand times better. |

I'm pretty sure this song is meant to be anti-christian. Cake separates the people into two groups, the sheep and the goats. Since Jesus can be referred to as a "shepherd" and believers in Jesus supposedly can be saved from hell as long as they accept Jesus as their savior, the sheep are christians. At the end of the song when he repeatedly sings "go to hell" I think he's telling everyone to turn away from christianity. Sheep are also followers, moving in large groups wherever the shepherd directs while goats are more individual and roam around alone. Cake is telling us to maintain our individuality as goats rather than to conform blindly to organized belief. I have no idea what the rest of the song means. |
