For me this song is the perfect analogy for anyone that goes away to college... You're leaving home to learn a profession...and once you get your degree, you're able to go off on your own and make your own living in the world. You go to college to learn to fly. |

I agree with tugit. The opening verse of this song always reminds me of my senior year of high school football. All the memories...the wins, the losses, and the heartbreaking end to it all. Brings a tear to my eye on some nights. |
