This is exactly what it's about. This is the story of my life right now and it's driving me nucking futs. >.< I swear, every situation I've ever been in in life can be described by a Weezer song. |

I love how Lerxst's guitar tone just shimmers in this song... When you can hear it. ;-) |

I agree with enderwggn. A Nightmare To Remember is great musically, but the lyrics really make me cringe.
This one actually isn't so bad, but I'm sure without all the dramatic license, the story was REALLY lame. |

Yeah, Brian's was good. The only one I'm not so big on is Cold Dark World. Red is really awesome, it's miles beyond Make Believe.
I love this song, Pat is so awesome at everything he does and he's awesome in interviews!! |

The vocals on this song are amazing. I'm in a 6-state middle school honor choir, but I want Maynard's pipes... Just remarkable. |

I can definitely say that the flour represents the Aryan race. Hitler wanted more "flour", but he did NOT want the Jews - the "eggs" - because he didn't like them. The Jews were rich, and eggs are an expensive commodity, so it's a logical connection.

Lots of good jokes on this here. I suck at it, but I figured I'd try. |

I think the song is pretty ambiguous and I'm not sure what it means, but hot damn is this in a crazy time signature!
Alternating 13/16 with 4/4 = awesome. |

I know you all think it's about martyrdom and everything, but I think it also could be interpreted as not saying something to somebody you appreciate, and put it off until it's too late.
For instance, you have a great friend and you get along just great, but you never took time to thank them for being such a great person. Then, perhaps they die a tragic, unexpected death and now you can't say anything to them and you feel regrets. Why didn't you say it before your friend actually died?
Is this at all valid? |
