This is Earshots best song in my opinion because of pure emotion of rage you feel when you listen to this song. People can look at this song as his "love" caused him pain, but it could be anything that has scarred someone. It could be a person who always picked on you in high school and you are finally getting revenge, or it could be someone who killed someone dear to you...anything to push you over that line into pure emotionless rage...The Punisher comes to mind. What this song says to me is, you (the person talking) has changed permanently, you are no longer the innocent person you once were. You have become something else, something worse, your anger has turned your world inside out and though you struggle to hide it everyday you wait for that one moment you can let it go on the person (or thing) that caused this change, to once and for all settle the score. |
