I'm pretty sure it's "I smell a drop of fear in a ten gallon tank and I'm movin' in for the kill." In addition, and these are still just what I think it may be.
"I've been bitten by the party animal."
"Don't regret a thing except for the times that I got caught givin' in." |

Man... I even 2 years ago I was an idiot. Shit brings back memories, but this song sucks. Granted, not as badly as Slipknot, with a little work this band could have been something. But they weren't. The end. Ain't that a pretty story? |

I retract previous statement. They suck. Corey Taylor is a jerkoff. Oh, the misleadings of a 14 year old, eh? |

Yea... I agree you people are looking WAY too far into this shit. Honestly, I think it's about the same shit Dig was about, Silenced was about... look at "Fight for your honesty. Fight for integrity." Good song, but it sounds like the same anti-sellout stab at the industry stuff as always. |

What I gather from this song is the frustrations of a man who fell for a religious "nut", had a child out of wedlock, and she killed it. To dive a little deeper, it seems to me that the woman in the song has different religious ideals than the male. The line "Fearing a god who died" has been used a lot, but it seems no one is incorperating the next line, "One who would not deny lovers". It's my belief that what he's saying is SHE is playing god, by trying to wipe the sin in her life from the planet. The lyrics, coupled with what was said on their website, makes this a pretty logical idea. |

I, too, found it as people=shit. Oh well, its quite simply a song about losing someone, and them breaking your trust, and probably having cheated on you. All that is left, quite simply, is visions of killing them. As for Annestasia, all the other songs sound exactly like this one vocally in my opinion, and nothing like Corey Taylor regardless. |

| 36 Crazyfists – Bury Me Where I Fall Lyrics

I find it as a mixture of both what Everlong said and what the others said, with a little of my own ideas in there. I think what it is would be that, again when people die on mountains(Brock lived by quite a few), they are meant to just die there. I think Brock is telling someone who is hurting him, and is in the relationship that the love has run out in(push and pull like sex machines), to just leave him as he dies, and let him be left with nothing more than his name and his peace(So carve my name and take me to the strength under it all, and bury me where I fall). In the end, I believe the line "Stare at the sun" describes both the light he will be blankly gazing at after his death, and the pain of dealing with this relationship and looking into it, only to find yourself going blind. Eh.. maybe its just me. |

This song seems like Brock was in a relationship that was harmful to him, causing him to turn to the bottles. In the end, however, he realizes what she is doing to him, and gives her back all the shit she gave him and leaves. |

Razor, you're a crappy fan. As for this song, it seems like its about when Brock is down(Crawling from the floor, I've been there before. There I was staring back at the bottom), his friends are always there for them and always have been, and he can never replace them(I'll never replace the ones I first made. Jesus, does anyone?). After just short of ten years, 36 Crazyfists has definately proven their ability to grow and change as musicians and people. Amazing song, regardless of what Razor says. |

| 36 Crazyfists – An Agreement Called Forever Lyrics

Defjaw is right, Brock didsay that most of his lyrics are him just yelling at himself for the problems in his life. However, in the case of "An Agreement Called Forever", I believe Brock is probably in a relationship, most likely with a fiance, and he is stripping away his outer layering to show her that he cannot be loyal, and will simply fail to love her properly. |

This song seems like Brock is yelling out at someone, not quite sure who it is, could be himself or a signifigant other most likely, to tell them that he cannot be more than he is, regardless of his failing. |

This song, be it to drugs(which would make the most sense due to one part of the song), or something else, is an addiction song about realizing how badly you have messed up by taking the drug, and how much you'd love to take it back, but now even if you wanted to you couldnt quit this drug(paraphrased quote from the song). Amazing song altogether, dont think I ever caught the punk flair thing but I'll take your word for it. |

will you all just stop whining? I mean sure the system isnt fair, and maybe people should get over it, but isnt this about the music, not a governmental debate over capitalism being bullshit? you all need to just enjoy the fuckin music and get over your pety arguements, theres not shit any of you can do about the government for those of you against it, and you who was for it, there isnt shit you can do to make those against it be for it, so just go with your beliefs and not try to force your will apon others, and grow the fuck up and enjoy some music instead of taking all pleasure out of it by fighting pointlessly |

| Slipknot – Left Behind Lyrics

I agree with tRyXRyZ the whole thing is symbolic for religion and being left behind in the holy rapture. Corey brags about being a "heretic" as anyone who is a fan of slipknot would know, he mentions it all over, such as "the heretics anthem" and his mention to sitting with satan in "people=shit". you just have to have some intelect and get down to the inner meaning of the song. I also disagree with tRyXRyZ because "what I've done to crucify" makes no sense, its just calcifying for what he screwed over on and realizing there isnt a damn thing he can do about it cuz he's a satanic moron. I mean he's a great songwriter, but the "dumfuck" as called in a previous note has a few screws loose. And no the song has nothing to do with drugs(thalidomide robotic face is just a metaphor" and nothing to do with being homeless(the infiltrations is profits, not other hobos who have disappeared now). Oh well this whole thing is a waste of time, just enjoy the music, dont spend hours writing. Now I'm gonna take my own advice because I hate hypocrisy... |
