Blind Melon is probably one of the best rock bands to come out of the whole grunge scene in the early 90s. Most people can jam to "No Rain" and to most are considered a one hit wonder. I highly recommend picking up all 3 of their records. Much like Colorblind I think BTBAM did a better job than the original. This song is about realizing you aren't living your life the way you want. most likely related to Shannon's drug abuse. |

the lyrics on every one of their songs are powerful in their own right. Everyone that takes the time to listen and understand will perceive the lyrics for their own meaning in a some sort of fashion. But that is exactly why this music is breath takingly beautiful. You listen and observe and listen some more. And you cant not help but try to be a better person. when you realize that we are all human. be humane. I love. That is what all of their songs mean to me. More meaning to me than anyone will every know. |
