when i first heard this song, matisyahu just shocked me, ive listented to pod ever since the 90's and his voice just took me by surprise. but enough about that, the meaning is really clear and if it wasnt all these posts[well maybe most of them] make it easier to find it. but something that i love most about it is that the band doesnt talk about one religion but about faith. jah of jacob deserving of my love, god of isaac reign blessings from above, hashem of abraham will show me the way. i really dont think that the point is being in the "right" religion, rather than keeping faith and spreading that faith to the people around you. |

faiht is not about dividing people, its about uniting them for one same cause and reason. so what if your jewish, catholic, christian, we all hold faith torwards one god. the teachings that i hold close to me are be a good brother, be a good person. fear and love the Creator for he is all powerfull and merciful. and know the difference between good and evil. |
