a perfect song relating to the pain you feel when you simply love someone so much that it hurts. the lyrics have special meaning to me from the part "isn't this just where we met .. is this the last chance that i'll ever get?" I fell in love with a man last year when I saw him working, and through the trials of our relationship I have always returned to that one special spot. just a beautiful song about how no matter how close you are physically to a person, sometimes they are just too blind to see not only how you feel but you yourself. love the lyrics "I dream of fire when you're touching my hand, but it twists into some when I turn on the lights".. so true .. no matter how beautiful a dream is, we always have to wake up and face reality no matter how harsh it is. |

quite possibly the most beautiful song ever written .. a situation with a person in my life matches the lyrics perfectly as we are right now going through a difficult time. the "first time our eyes met", i fell in love with him, and I still get the same feeling even to this day. I will never forget our first kiss or any of our other firsts together. I love this man more than I have loved anyone or anything and the "one thing i'm sure of" is that I need him in my life. I think the song is about loving someone too much, and almost pushing them away. sometimes if this happens we need to stop and remind them that we are doing it uninentionally, and not to hurt or smother them.. |
