I kind of interpreted it as being in love with someone you're almost afraid of - someone commanding and intimidating. And maybe all the winter referenced alludes to the more jaded point of view she's getting. (Along with marred unicorns, etc.)
But honestly, I think this song is meant to be vague, and could be intrepreted a LOT of different ways. |

It's definately kind of emo-sad, but I like it. It's definately much softer and sweeter than Panic's songs - much, much different from Panic's sharp, witty, wordy style. |

Uh, I really don't understand the crash part... but I think the idea here is: the girl needs a job really badly, so she's going to sleep with whoever she needs to to get it. 'Moonlighting' says she's taken on a second job as a prostitute, in a sense, because of that. |
