(i dont think this song is about love, i think its about friendship. she was just remembering the old times when her and friends just keep changing, because her favourit colours change, she smoked anything, ate only certain things for a period of time, just like any friendship. if you think about your friends, youd think ohh i remember when this and that happened. but with this story, her friend o.d. and be sure to know that regina? or the character shes singing for was also 'on alot of shit too', and shes telling the other guy in the hospital bed that im sorry? because she hallucinated what he was feeling. she wasnt in the hospital bed, and she felt helpless, and guilty because both used drugs, and one just had to much and she didnt. does anyone know anything about regina and drug use? things for sure, not rumours or maybe. |

when i first heard the new songs from conor oberst and the mystic valley band, i thought shit, this is so different to bright eyes, i dont really like it. but after the concert last week, the new album is fucking awesome. this song is so beautiful. when he sang it at the gig, everyone was silent. his guitar hitting inbetween the lyrics were really loud, and i seriously had shivers all through out this song. i can never get enough of conors music. his so comforting. |
