Another perspective of breaking up. Pretty harsh, but not as maudlin as "Now I See". What is so funny about both songs is that they are both really one sided and neither are fair. |

A bittersweet love story about someone letting their significant other do what they need to do before continuing their relationship. They'll even put their controlling nature aside, and let the other walk all over them; and then they'll wait. This is true love in it's hardest form. |

I think we are dominated by a culture full of egomaniacs who think they can decide the morality of everything. But, really it all should be applied to Morality that has been here since the beginning of time. For instance, should someone (like in verse 2) who is motivated by things they can't control be held accountable for what they do, even to people they love? Morality is forever changing; especially when it is good for us. |

This song seems to be about harsh break ups. I think the realization that you will never be with someone ever again is one of the worst things. Especially, if it was a good relationship. It is funny how whoever is speaking is using really harsh and mellodramatic language like "dark spell", "disease", and "harmful weight". It just shows how awful breaking up can be sometimes. |
