| Arcade Fire – Headlights Look Like Diamonds Lyrics | 18 years ago |
The red lights mean you're leaving The white one's mean returning Tell me how this story ends And I'll keep them fires burning The headlights look like diamonds The taillights burn like coals Tell me how this story ends Before the fires go cold The countryside's deserted There's no one on the farms The suburbs all are sleeping The earthquakes set off car alarms All after all now we aware All after all the time we share There's so much fears of world, Hopes of world, Tears of world |

| Arcade Fire – Neon Bible Lyrics | 18 years ago |
o come on. theres nothing wrong with hearing what you want, i mean.. its music.. you always will. but did you read the lyrics.? why would win wanna ridicule religion or spirituality or god or any of that..? i mean, dont you guys listen to the rest of the album.? for starters its a vial of hope and a vial of pain. in the light they both look the same. the light is the same neon city light hes talking about. you cant put spirituality on a bilboard and expect everyone to be receptive. why do you think bush is such a devil? because he has the audacity to say HIS decisions have gods stamp on em. thats the mix of culture and religion win talks about. so until god comes down and runs for president, everyone (from god heads to satanists) are going to be pissed when a human president claims he knows what god wants for everyone. n if you think about it, that would piss god off too. so if you fuck up when you act, supposedly, in the light of a golden calf, yea id laugh at you too. so ultimately, if all we have, regarding spirituality, is what they shove down our throats then you better believe theres no chance for survival. |

| Arcade Fire – Neighborhood #4 (7 Kettles) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
patience is a virtue. and this song is about those times when patience is a hard thing practice. he doesnt want a lover, and hes not lookin for it all to be over, but hes frustrated. theres a spirit i used to know that's beeen drowned out by the radio as time passes it only gets harder. and where were at, its easy to start losing hope. my eyes are covered by the hands of my un-born kids, but my heart keeps watching through the skin of my eyelids were all, in one way or another, bound by this skin we're in. and in the end, if youre hopeless or hangin on by a thread, still, the best thing to do is to admit you don't have to understand. cause like a seed in the soil, you just gotta give it time. |

| Arcade Fire – Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
actually the songs not about death. the power outtage, like he says, is taking place in the hearts of man. subsequently, children (like on most the album) are a focus. "Because nothing's hid, from us kids! You ain't fooling nobody with the lights out!" the power outtage/storm has left most parents with their hands frozen; as victims to this growing darkness, culture, whatever you wanna call it. so kids are goin out, lookin for light and the songs sayin to take it from your heart and put it in your hand. in other words, make your actions worth something. be true to yourself. or fore you know it your livin in some strange storm where nobodys cold, n nobodys warm. happy.? nah. sad.? nah. your numb w the lights out |

| Arcade Fire – Accidents Lyrics | 18 years ago |
this song is about realizing your relationship is self destructive. when you're on the wrong path, you collide with others as oppose to just meeting them. accidents. promises don't go away. whether their kept or broken like chandeliers. |
