So if theres any problem with the song blame her.Generally speaking when you hear New Model Army say something extreme they are being sarcastic. Kind of like the Dead Boys and The Sex Pistols. Give them the benefit of the doubt. |

To be honest if this song is representitative of the lowest point in your life than your'e doing pretty well. When its been worse than Not Anymore by the Dead Boys than youve hit bottem. But that still doesnt make it something to brag about particularly on an internet forum. Apparently you have'nt been low enogh to realize that its not important how low youve been. i love the line the remembrance of today is the sad feeling of tommorow. this is one of my favorite songs ever, bob marley or otherwise. That's so true. on a side note weed is technically qualified as a hallucinogen and a psychedelic, but the least potent of the psychedelics. if youve ever had white widoww you know what im sayin. a real racy visual high. also, africa, america, jamaica, wherever this song "takes place", are home to many hallucinogens, ibogaine in africa, datura in america, and salvia and peyote, too name a few. however i certainly doubt that he was reffering to drugs at any point in this song. Most likely reffering to slaves african ancestry. remember what you were, an african herbsman. |

it sounds like a song about just getting really drunk. cool confusion, falling off buildings, kung fu in a car park, being swept out of a room with bottles. But there's something else there too with glue bag deaths and what not. a good song though with a real pronounced rythym guitar. |
