It's so awesome to see people actually dissect our lyrics like this! And just to clarify, the correct words are indeed 'slay with words unsaid.' There are some... I guess you could say 'hidden' lyrics too... hidden by somewhat of a recording fluke. At the end of the bridge - after 'ears have longed to hear' - Tim whispers 'Be still' just as the guitar hits. We all still do that part live... at least I do. So if you see us play this song, watch me during that part. I'm not making it up =) |
