Hahaha! I never knew what he was saying in this song, when i first heard it the only think i could make out was "never coming home", i thought it was about a soldier that went off into war and got shot and slowly died, knowing that he was "Never coming home" again. ugh, depressing shit, i wish it was about that. |

I love this song, it reminds me of growing up on Baltimore Ave. in RI, no kids lived on the street and so i just sat outside most of the time waiting for night to come and watch as dusk arrived and the street lights came on. god, such depressing times. |

I think this song is about a highly depressed friend in need who eventually killed themself.

Yeah, thats just what i think. Im not rly a big fan of the fray but i respect this song highly, and seems like he took a lot of time writing these lyrics.
p.s: any artist that can play an instrument and sing at the same time is rly talented. trust me, i try singing while playing guitar and its just impossible for me. |
