This song brings me to tears. I hate the effect some music has on me, the effect to bring me to my knees and bring every weakness outta me, and yet I love it. It really shows a person who they are. James Blunt has this effect on me sooo much, especially Goodbye My Lover. So so much pain in his voice.

Such a wonderful song. My family went through cancer with my sister. She got Kemo and aslo lost all her hair...sadly she lost her life. I downloaded this and was playing it...my whole family was in the room and at the end, every one of us was in tears.
This song brings it back, but good memories. I love it. |

This song makes me think about a lot. Past and future..the pain someone goes through over another human being. I hate the feeling of not being able to have her...it's happened numerous times, and it just hurts more and more every time. But the song makes you realize how life is, and that a person can't achieve everything they want, so you have to tough it out, and just move on.

I love this. She was so flawless....so perfect to him, that she gave him his own natural high.

What about him being gay? A friend and I were talking about it and it kinda makes sense. He could be gay and the girl just isn't doing anything for him. I also agree with the method of him being older than her spiritually and the love they share now is just meaningless. |
