it really meant a lot to me....around october of my first year at U of I my relationship of 3 years ended. I questioned why i ever left home in the first place and wanted to blame school. I definitely felt the same and turned to religion for help and comfort....wish i had heard this song a long time ago.... |

I do know that Matt is an alum of the University of Illinois (Urbana/Champaign)...(go illini!). He was a part of a christian youth group organization called "young life." 6th and Green are two intersecting streets on campus, green being the exciting place to be (bars, restaurants, etc). I'm going to guess that this is about his love life...maybe and end to a relationship....perhaps he lived on 6th street and Green street...and he was just finding comfort in God. |
