You know i think that gk1erik has a point. This song has many religious meanings in it. and yes i think that the star is Satan. when it says "And I don't want to fall into the light." i think it means he doesnt want people to see how close Satan is to tempting him. when he says "am i the star beneath the stairs?" he is asking if he is or is like satan. "And I don't want to die tonight; will you believe in me?" this is the best part, it means he doesnt want satan to take him, and he needs people to belive in him and be with him to help him. when we are alone we will fail and fall, even to Satan's grasp. But if we have people or stand with us and belive in us, than we can succeed and with a little more help, even defeat Satan. But not alone. ???What do you think??? |
