this was written before he had cancer (like the album everything in transit). its not that new a song. I love this song and i agree i thought it was about cancer as well before i found out it was pre-cancer.
I think its about being on tour and feeling disconnected from home and his wife. I think the way he describes feeling (overwhelmed, shaken ect) is about the way he felt on tour with something corporate |
