I am a long-time Nirvana fan and never even heard of the meat puppets until unplugged. And I thank Kurt for introducing me to Curt when he covered his songs. I have read all your comments on this song and some people are so NAIVE. It is Curt Kirkwood's original song. Sure Kurt Cobain did a good job covering it. Because he liked the song. It was inspiring to him. How many times do you think he sat at home with his guitar and played that song to himself over and over again until he got it right? Kurt is a good blues singer, and this song is BLUES. Plain and simple. |
