To me, this seems to be Hayley struggling with herself and the way the band was working. The chorus really makes me think that this is what the song is about. "And the worst part is Before it gets any better We're headed for a cliff And in the free fall I will realize I'm better off When I hit the bottom" It sounds like she really wants to be happy with the success that they have, but its hard for her to enjoy it when they're all so miserable. That and the second verse: "The tragedy, it seems unending I'm watching everyone I looked up to break and bending We're taking shortcuts and false solutions Just to come out the hero Well, I can see behind the curtain (I can see it now) The wheels are cranking, turning It's all wrong, the way we're working Towards a goal that's non-existent It's not existent, but we just keep believing" Hayley feels that they're not doing the right thing to get to their goal, which she also thinks is non-existent. They want to be a successful and happy band, but sometimes that just doesn't happen. Especially when you don't want to talk to your bandmates. "I scraped my knees while I was praying And found a demon in my safest haven Seems like it's getting harder to believe in anything Than just to get lost in all my selfish thoughts" Shes trying not to be the selfish frontwoman but its hard when the band is the way it is. Remember, the guys didn't like the fact that Hayley was getting all the attention. The "demon in my safest haven" sounds to me like shes saying there was a problem in the band. |

| I said that they could believe with whatever they wanted to. Thats the actual meaning of the song. Why Amy wrote it. So I'm not going to take anything from someone who says LOL, can't spell my username when its on the page, and calls someone they don't even know a goth/emo therapist. I restate before I get told to shut up by those who don't take the time to spell out their words, its what Amy said the song was about. If there is an actual meaning that was told by the person who wrote it, it should be on here. As well as other peoples interpretations. If you want to believe something, religion song meanings, believe it. Again, to stress why I put that up, Amy said what it was about. If you don't believe me, look it up. | |

It could be a relationship. Or the aftermath of one. Where one person decided to end it when the other didn't feel like it was. They have left over emotions and memories. They're confused and lost |

| Plumb – Here With Me Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| It seems to be about a relationship where the person doesn't care how different it feels because they love the person and they give them the support they need. It has a in relationship part and an after, like something happened (answers to love left behind) and they're telling them that they really need them. No matter what. This is a really great song. | |

"You can't take back what you've taken away." Sounds like the person is blaming themselves, as many victims of rape and molestation do. So, in this interpretation, it sounds like the person is either talking to the person who did this to them or someone who wants to get close to her. But, it can kind of be taken in a relationship kind of interpratation. Being damaged from a bad relationship and only dreaming of feeling true love, which is what they never got from the other one. Afraid to let someone in, alone because they're afraid and ashamed of it as well. In this one, the person is talking to someone who wants to have a relationship and realizes whats wrong. |

Uh, hate to be rude but, sorry. Wrong answer. Josh is a therapist. An actual trained therapist. So, that means he can spot it. The song is about how Josh (now Amy's husband) opened her eyes to how miserable she was. Said so herself. But if you want to believe its religous, go on ahead. Though, I like the song for its real meaning. I can relate to it, too. |
