my all time favorite pearl jam song mainly for that first line. my dad thinks it's about someone pretending to have a gun. like in the outsiders with matt dillon and it's not a real gun. but it really only fits for the chorus. |

this may be a silly song about robots but I've always liked to think of yoshimi as this asian prostitute and the robots are sleezy buisness men who come to the strip club after work and then this guy is like "yo man she's my girlfriend don't have sex with her" and slimeball starts beating him up. and the "vitamins" is like speed or something. |

everyone's basically said it all but I just want to say that I love how bitchy the mom is in that first verse. I'm surprised there's no line about him punching her after she's all "well lovely chat". |
