This is my 2nd favorite song off the RIOT album i love it so much! I have seen them live three times and i love it when they sing this live because every time they do its just so amazing!!! You just get aucked into their world like final fantasy or something and you just never want hayley to stop singing! I got the dvd of the final riot tour and when i was watching it i was just enjoying every minute of it. now like i said ive seen them live performing this song but ive never seen her perfrom it with the Oh father ending. the 1st time i actually saw it was on the dvd. I was watching it with my dad we're both big fans have been since 05. i just watched her go down on her knees and sing this with her hand raised like she was singing to GOD himself and it felt like she was!!!! I was so blown away, i was entranced it was a great feeling. Then i turned to my dad and said " we never saw her do that when she sang this, thats the best part"!!!!! I was alittle sad because i would have just loved to see her do this with my own two eyes. but i love the song even more now with the Oh father ending its just beautiful! |

| Wow hold the phone! what is all this talk about this song being just about josh? i really dont think its just about josh and hayley. I mean lets face it people, their a band. Bands are going to go through some major challenges. There's gonna be some really great days and some really shitty days. When i 1st heard the song i thought it was just about like a friend( not band member) of theirs or whatever and they just wrote it like " misery buisness". but then i heard about it being about the band going through hard times and not wanting to be around each other and not talking and just having a falling out. I was surprised but i was like ok maybe their just going through hard times right now, its life and it comes with hard times. I went back and re-read the lyrics and i started thinking huh, maybe this is about the bands hard times and when i thought about it that way i was like wow that is way harsh but its life. your gonna get tired and want a break from being around each other dealing with differences and getting sick of dealing with diffrences and all that junk. but i don't think its just about josh, i think its either a friend outside the band or the band together as a whole and just writing this song and being honest but hopefully the band will clear this whole mess up we're all just gonna have to wait n c. | |

i love rob's voice holy hell when i 1st heard this song i didn't even know it was him!!!! i knew that he was on the album but i hadn't heard his songs. and i didn't have the album at the time.so i had no idea what his voice was gonna be like.but when i bought the album on itunes and listened to it that night, i could barely speak!!!! my mouth was like wide open when i heard him singing. i was so not prepared for that, i had no clue how talented( as a singer) he was. he sound liked john mayor and ray lamontagne and so many others i can't name right now. he shocked the hell out of me. especially with let me sign! the 1st time i heard that song was in the movie and i had no clue it was rob!!! i ws thinking john mayor or adam lavigne from maroon 5 and others but definitely not him. but when i did find out, my god i was shocked. like even my mom would like his music and even pay to go c him!!! rob pattinson lover:D!!! |

this song is( in my opinion more jacob and bella)why? let me explain.lol. my mom always says let me break it down.lol.anyways ok. now im sure this song is meant for edward and bella, but certain parts of the song just don't really go with or connect with him. 4 ex: the line" when i know in my heart its not you, and the second verse + the last part of the song. in the second verse it says, "but your not the one i believe in, with god as my witness. u know that can't be right. bella was always in edwards heart. and the last part of the song which basicly states that a person doesn't want whom ever theyre talking about. and u know for sure that can't be right because edward always wanted bella.but when i think of jacob and bella, everything fits perfectly. in new moon when bella is thinking about giving it a go with jacob but ws never really sure becuase she was in love with edward. and in eclipse when she discovers that she loves jacob too. and whenever she thought about it, especially after the two hardcore kissed in the book, she would think and even admit she loved jake. and she would feel guilty about it right? " now when i caught myself( thinking i loved jake) i had to stop myself, i'm saying something that i should've never thought( because i love edward too much and don't want to hurt him) " down to you, your pushing and pulling me down to you"( jake keeps telling bella how much he can make her happy and how much he loves her, that life with him is how its supposed to be, and he's healthier 4 her. he keeps trying and trying and trying and that hurts bella,jacob keeps trying push and pull her towards him. i love mutemath even before this song!!! they are just flippin awesome and this song is amazing.i love listening to it!!! i agree with maenberlin it is crazy. once when i was at a friends house. now before i heard it completely and Knew it was on the twilight soundtrack my friend was listening to it on her ipod. she said it was on the twilight album and i was all " oh really, i didn't know that". i told her i'd never heard all of it and she was all u gotta listen to it. so she handed me her ipod that was on "FULL BLAST"( didn't know that btw) and when it started my ears nearly exploded!!! now i like listening to music loud anyway, like on my Ipod and stuff but i had no heads up it was that crazy. after it finshed my friends all, so what'd you think. I said, " wow, well i was not expecting that, that was insane. ( but i guess i should have known, it is mutemath, and their songs are insane.lol. |

i agree with liesparadise, this song doesn't neccissarily have to be all sad and tragic. this song is really amazing i love linkin park and they haven't ceased to disapointment. I mean when minutes to midnight was released oh yeah, if you asked me do you think theyre different, i would've said yep. Even my mom was all, somethings different they've changed. a friend of mine said they lost some of they're loud wild dark and depressing sounds and lyrics. i ultimately love this song. paramore is the shit idc what anyone says!!! Ive been a fan since 05' too and it really sucks to hear how fans think they have changed and stuff. I don't think they have i just think they are getting the props they deserve you know. Mtv awards, grammy nominations, and voted best band of 2007 by alternative press, they deserve all of that. But aside from that, i love this song!!! It really goes well with twilight and i love its meaning of Edward and Bellas relationship. |
