Tay Zonday – Internet Dream Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"So every day I swear I'm gonna go to bed at like eleven. And all of a sudden its 4AM . . . And I was just watching Youtube and reading Wikipedia for five hours. It's like MAN . . . you ask me the next day. I can't even remember what I was doin. Crazy." First time I heard this song, I looked at the clock and it was 4 AM o_o" I decided earlier that night I needed to go to bed early, then got on Youtube, heard the song, and it was 4 AM.. xD! |
Tay Zonday – Chocolate Rain Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"Chocolate Rain The same crime has a higher price to pay chocolate Rain The judge and jury swear it's not the face" I think that could mean that it's atleast PARTLY about discrimination, most likely towards colored people. "The same crime has a higher price to pay," meaning a black person's punishment is worse than say, a white person's, just because they're a different race. And then "The judge and jury swear it's not the face," meaning exactly what it says. They swear they're not being biased, and that their decision relies nothing on the color of their skin. Tay Zonday could also mean discrimination in general, not just towards colored people, because although it's not as common as it used to be, it's still a big problem. It's a great song. Really something you have to think about. |
