Well, yeah, it seems pretty obvious. I have been on both sides of this sort of plea, so this song has a pretty powerful effect on me. To be honest, the picture i have in my mind is in the hospital, there was this 'petite', fragile woman there. Her ursine-build husband visited her all the time, and I just get the picture of him hugging her, trying to console her. Rambling... Anyways, I figure I might be mildly sadistic/not and show it to one of my friends who cant even listen to Passive by APC because it hit too close to home (or would have if she didnt betray me =P). |

Well, to me this song sounds like the point of view of somebody trying to get their friends to join them in their self harm. Most likely, it is additionally in a sexual manner too. Alternatively, it could be an internal persuader, trying to coax the 'listener' towards that path. Anyhoo, as somebody who has broken from self-harm (for now) I most likely shouldnt be listening to this song now :D |
