weird every time i listen to this song (which is lots of times), i hear "time to understand the world" not "time to understand the horror" i know it must be horror because thats what it is called, but i just keep hearing world. how can world sound like horror? weird. |

even though there are already over a hundred comments here, im going to add my little 2 cents cuz i have a slightly different outlook.. from watching the video i kind of see it as the guy is trying to get the girl to be flirty, to use her curves (someone said something like this before, a few pages back - that she's not confident). but she keeps saying no (you see her shaking her head in the video.) i think he goes to the other girls to make her jealous. but she still wont flirt with him, she sees her curves as a curse. then the part at the end, i dont think it was the wine/champagne that killed him. to me it seems pretty obvious: she looked at him and did a little flirty head move. he closes his eyes and leans back with a little smile and falls over, the glass tips over and the red wine spills on the tablecloth (that can just be symbolism). doesnt it seem obvious that she killed him with her looks, not with poison? after that she shakes her head again, kind of like an "i told you so" gesture... ...maybe he didnt actually "die" there, maybe he just fainted or something. anyway, so i dont get all the lyrics. and i dont even like the song that much, but it is catchy. and the music video is really cool. yeah. sooo, in conclusion, i reckon that he wants someone "provocative and talkative", and he wants *her* to be like that, but she doesnt want to use what she's got. |
