I always figured the song was about rebirth and reincarnation, but this isn't totally at odds with the "sperm" interpretation, either. There's an element of "potentials" or "seed" to both - though I think the lyrics are a bit too poetic to be taken *literally* about sperm per se. As for the title, my guess is that it means that one springs up in different parts of the world with each incarnation, thus one can be seen as a "national acrobat" leaping from place to place throughout lifetimes... |
