I think the first verse is about maaaaaybe living in someone elses shadow, that there was never realy anything there. She kind of ran away from stuff, feeling pushed. Standing bent, feeling awkward? With stuff just weighing her down. But she'll stand for the sake of her friends, she'll do it FOR her friends. The whole 'down boy down' bit makes me think about a dog, someone telling it to stop jumping up and annoying you. Just to sit, stay and leave you alone. Perhaps someone is annoying her, and not listening.. like an animal does. But then the 'count me down' bit confuses me. Like counting her in on something, she's guna do it. whatever it is :s |
