Love this song. I bought the CD when I was in Manhattan, so I wen't up to my hotel room and turned it on. Of course, I heard this sone first, it was cool, I just looked out my window, right in the middle of Times Square. Anyway, there's a certain stanza I don't get: I wish we could open our eyes To see in all directions at the same time Oh, what a beautiful view If you were never aware of what was around you The 4th line seems to be contradicting the second and third. Anybody know what it means? |
