In my mind the girl lost someone she really cares about. She let someone slip away because she didn't realize what she was doing. She wants him to come back but doesn't think he can because of something she can't let go. The guy wants to come back to her, cant, but thinks shes giving up when she doesn't need to, so he prays for a miracle. The thing that she can't let go of could be her hopes and dreams, a friend or another guy. That's how I took it. |
