I think this song is about being disconnected. About wanting to take your life, rip it apart by the lung tissue, and start over, be winning. The 'everything I love gets lost in drawers' lyric, I think is exactly what it sounds like--drawers get messy, so does love. I think the part that's being screamed is the guitarist yelling 'I'm talking ace', and Berninger saying 'But I'm folding.' Now, 'ace' is a British word basically meaning cool or good--it could go with the pressures of being famous theory. I'm talking ace, but I'm folding. This is great, but fuck it.
