This is really stupid, but when i was younger and heard this song, i thought they said "another bruise to try and hide, another alligator eye"...lmao yes, yes thats what i thought it said. XD I kept asking people if they knew what an alligator eye was ("is it another word for what u call it when you get a bruised eye or something...?") but no, it actually says "Another bruise to try and hide, Another alibi to write"...which makes a lot more sense. :) |

for starters we are AUSSIES. not ozzies. and secondly, if you ^ (2 above) believe we are a music site, not a politics site, then i also assume it shouldnt be a rasist site either. so please dont call ANY human being of ANY RACE a 'dirt worshipping peasent'. those supposed 'peasents' you talk about had the land before us. if u bought something and someone took it off you because they were 'stronger' than you("the strong govern the weak" u say) i doubt u would like it very much. i find this fairly hypocritical. u shouldnt critisize something you are obviously not familar with. they deserve it back. THAT IS ALL THE SONG WAS SAYING. i like the song, but it is not something to fight poitically (or racially) over. it is to say 'what the song means to you'. not ur personal racist thought. so please keep them to yourself. to me, the song means talking about our country's issues, and a optional alternative out of the mess. |
