Lol. Aaaah. Who hasn't been there? I can relate to this song VERY well. Quite amazingly, the girl I loved, who didn't love me, now loves me very much so X3 But, it was your classic one-way love. She just wanted to be friends while I loved her dearly. I'd have to endure her silly crushes on all of my friends, and be there for her if it wasn't going to happen. But, every now and then, she'd drop a hint that she might like me (which, ultimately led to her getting pissed off at me and not talking to me for a day. Harsh). Well, I had written a letter telling her of my suicide, and was about to get a friend to give it to her whilst I missed school, until my friend so cleverly talked me out of it. Phew, lol. That was three years ago And now we've bee together for almost 2 years =3 |

| Drake Bell – Up Periscope Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I daresay, I was somewhat shocked by the content of this song LOL. the first time I heard it, I thought it was some kind of jumpy party song XD But hearing it through, I'm alittle surprised. It's a great song, rhythmically, melodically and lyrically, but was it really his best move? By this I mean, most of his fans are going to be aged between say...12 - 16 at a rough guess, because of his role with Josh Peck in "Drake and Josh". It would be this age range buying his albums. A great song, definately, but I personally don't think it's his best idea =/ |

| Incubus – Warning Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Okay...Here is your explanation. Everyone knows that Brandon tends to include 2012 in one or two of his songs. What does this have to do with 10:24? Well...The mayan calander ends at 2012 of 4-21 at 10:24am. The predicted end of the world. So, Brandon sings of 2012, he mentions 421 in "Trouble in 421" (421 being the reference to 4-21, in which "room 421" is full of judgement) and 10:24 appears in this video. Coincidence? NO! Case closed =3 |

| Incubus – I Miss You Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I am in such a position. My girlfriend left for the other side of the world for a few years after a strong relationship together beforehand. To see you when I wake up, is a gift I didn't, think'd be real: This clearly states that to see his lover upon awakening is something that he truly wants. A "gift" To know that you feel the same, as I do, is a three-fold Utopian dream: Basically, this states that knowing that this person loves the writer as much as the writer loves this person is three times better than the perfect dream (The Rule of Three (also threefold law or law of return) is a tenet of Wicca. claiming that whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times.) You did something to me, that I can't explain: The person did something to the writer that he may not understand, or be able to put into words, but it's effect upon him was massive So Would I be out of line, if I said, I miss you?: The writer is asking if he would be wrong, or out of place upon telling the person that he misses them, after having this effect on him I see your picture, I smell your skin on the empty pillow, next to mine: Alot of the normal things that the writer does in life are bringing this person to mind again and again, because of what they left behind, or the memories they recall You have only been gone ten days, but already I'm wasting away: Pretty self explanatory. The person has been away for a short while, but already the writer is "Wasting away" I Know I'll See you again, wether far or soon: The writer knows that they will re-unite, wether in a short time or long time But I need you to know, That I care, and I miss you: The writer wishes for this person to know that, despite the distance, they're still on the writers mind, and that the writer misses this person a great deal. An amazing song, one of the first I heard from Incubus, and at the moment, one that I can really relate to. It helps to remind me how I feel towards my girlfriend, and that in the end, we'll be reunited again =] |

| Incubus – Here In My Room Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song is purely about sex, and those of you who say Incubus wouldn't be that "Flat" or "Blunt" are pretty damn stupid. Mike found the word "Incubus" in a thesaurus and they picked that to be their band name, simply because the meaning included the word "Sex". Sound familiar at all? Or isn't that "Like them"? | |
